Webtales IT Solutions, working from its Navi Mumbai office, designs and develops WordPress sites for organisations in Delhi NCR: bilingual Hindi and English sites, accessible builds for institutions, and fast WooCommerce stores for traders.

Delhi NCR is several markets inside one region. Policy bodies, NGOs and PSU-linked organisations in central Delhi publish reports and notices. Coaching institutes around Old Rajinder Nagar and Mukherjee Nagar handle admissions and results. Wholesale traders in Sadar Bazaar, Chandni Chowk and Karol Bagh sell in bulk. Corporate offices in Gurugram and Noida want a polished brand site. Each needs WordPress built differently.

Language runs through all of it. Hindi and Hinglish searches carry real volume across NCR, and many visitors move between Hindi and English in one visit. A site that treats Hindi as an afterthought, or loads a heavy Devanagari font on every page, loses people on both counts.

Where WordPress work in Delhi NCR needs particular care

Hindi and English versions that both load fast

Hindi and English pages live at separate addresses linked by hreflang, and Devanagari fonts are subset so a page loads only the characters it uses. Editors can publish a notice in Hindi without breaking the English layout.

Accessibility for institutions and tenders

Organisations that work with government often need sites that satisfy the Government of India’s GIGW guidelines for websites and apps, and the WCAG standards behind them. We build with proper headings, labelled forms, keyboard navigation and sufficient contrast, and test with screen readers.

Publication libraries for policy bodies and NGOs

Think tanks, foundations and associations need reports, briefs and press releases that can be filtered by topic, year and author. We build them as structured content types with accessible alternatives to PDFs, so a researcher or journalist finds a document in seconds.

Coaching sites that stay up on results day

An institute’s traffic can multiply the moment results are declared or an admission window opens. We cache pages at the edge, keep the admission form light and move heavy downloads such as test papers off the main server, so the site holds at the peak.

Wholesale pricing for the old trading markets

Distributors from Nehru Place to Sadar Bazaar sell differently from retail shops. WooCommerce stores get trade-only price lists, minimum order quantities, GST details on invoices and enquiry-based checkout where prices are negotiated. Retail buyers can still be served from the same catalogue at public prices.

Separate pages for Gurugram, Noida and Delhi

The region spans Delhi and parts of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, and buyers search by their own city. Businesses with offices across the region get a page per location with its own address and details, rather than one “Delhi NCR” page that ranks nowhere.

Building a bilingual WordPress site for Delhi: decisions to make first

Most Hindi-language problems on WordPress sites are planning problems, not translation problems. The questions below decide how the site is built, so they need answers before design starts, not after the English version is already live. Getting them wrong usually means rebuilding templates, redirecting URLs a second time, or running two sites that drift apart:

  • Will every page exist in both languages, or only the pages Hindi-speaking visitors actually use?
  • Will Hindi URLs use Devanagari script or transliterated Roman slugs? Either can work; mixing them causes trouble.
  • Who writes the Hindi copy, and who checks it? Machine translation reads badly to native readers.
  • Do forms, error messages and confirmation emails need a Hindi version too?
  • Which font will display Devanagari, and does it cover every character and conjunct your content uses?

Voice search deserves thought as well. Questions spoken into a phone are often in Hinglish and phrased as full sentences, so FAQ sections written the way people actually ask, in both languages, give search engines and AI assistants a direct answer to quote. Our SEO and GEO team for Delhi can plan that content alongside the build.

Running a Delhi NCR WordPress project remotely

Webtales has no Delhi NCR office. Clients there work with our Navi Mumbai team through planned video sessions, a project board open to both teams and written reports. A team member travels up for kickoff, or for a major review, whenever being in the room will save time. The people on every call are the people doing the work.

  1. An audit in the first fortnight covers your current site’s speed, security, accessibility and how Hindi content is handled today.
  2. Over video, we agree the sitemap, languages, content types and the accessibility standard the build has to meet.
  3. Designs are reviewed in both languages, then developed on a staging copy your team can open whenever it likes.
  4. Our QA team tests with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation, and load tests where traffic peaks are expected, before a redirect-mapped launch.
  5. Editors are trained online after launch, and monthly reports cover uptime, updates, speed and security for the whole site.

Frequently asked questions

Can you build a WordPress site in both Hindi and English?

Yes. We set up separate Hindi and English versions connected with hreflang markup, translate forms and system messages along with the pages, and Devanagari fonts are subset so they do not slow the site. We recommend a native Hindi writer or reviewer for the copy rather than relying on machine translation.

Will Devanagari URLs cause problems when links to our Delhi site are shared?

Devanagari URLs work for search engines, but links to a Delhi website's Hindi pages often turn into long percent-encoded strings when copied into WhatsApp or email. They still read naturally in the browser address bar. Transliterated Roman slugs are easier to type and share, so many bilingual sites prefer them. Whichever you choose, apply it to every Hindi page from the start, because switching later means a second round of redirects.

Can you make our website meet GIGW and WCAG accessibility requirements?

We build and audit sites against the accessibility requirements in GIGW and the WCAG standards it draws on: headings, labels, contrast, keyboard use and screen-reader testing. Where your organisation needs formal certification, it is issued by the designated testing body, and we prepare the site for that review.

Our coaching institute's website crashes on results day. Can you fix that?

Usually, yes. We first find the cause, which is often an uncached site, a heavy page builder or large files served from the same server. Then we rebuild or tune it with edge caching, lighter forms and separate file hosting, and load test it before the next results announcement.

Can a Delhi think tank's WordPress site make reports searchable by topic and year?

Yes. Reports, policy briefs and press releases for a Delhi think tank, NGO or association are built as structured WordPress content types, filterable by topic, year, author and document type. Each publication gets its own page with a summary and an accessible alternative to the PDF, so researchers and journalists find a document quickly and screen-reader users can read it in full.

Can a Nehru Place distributor take bulk WooCommerce enquiries instead of payments?

Yes. For a Nehru Place, Karol Bagh or Sadar Bazaar distributor whose prices are negotiated, WooCommerce checkout can become a bulk enquiry that captures quantities, the buyer's GSTIN and delivery location instead of taking payment. Minimum order quantities are enforced per product, and confirmed orders carry GST details on invoices. Retail customers can still buy from the same catalogue at public prices.

Which Hindi font should a Delhi website use without slowing pages down?

A Delhi website should use a Devanagari font that covers every conjunct and vowel sign in its content, self-hosted and subset so each page loads only the characters it needs. Open-licence families such as Noto Sans Devanagari and Mukta are common choices. Our QA team checks real Hindi copy for broken conjuncts and misplaced matras before launch, because missing glyphs are easy to overlook in English-only testing.

Can a Delhi NGO's WordPress site accept Indian and foreign donations separately?

Yes. A Delhi NGO's WordPress site should have separate donation flows: Indian donations through a payment gateway with 80G receipt details generated automatically, and foreign contributions only if the NGO holds FCRA registration. Foreign donations must be received in the NGO's FCRA account at State Bank of India's New Delhi Main Branch, so that flow records the donor's name, address and country and never mixes with the domestic account.
